Estate Planning
Estate Planning ensures that one’s property passes to the chosen beneficiaries quickly and efficiently.
An estate plan includes a package of documents – Trust and/or Will, Power of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directive, and any other documents that states one’s final wishes.
The contents of those documents vary based on family situations, assets, and goals. I can assist with questions you may have regarding your Estate Planning needs.

Probate
Probate is a court process for executing a person’s estate after his or her death. If a person passes away with only a will or without any kind of estate planning, a probate may be necessary to transfer assets to the beneficiaries.

Guardianship
A guardianship is a court proceeding for appointing someone to be legally responsible for a minor. A court must appoint a guardian. My law firm can assist with Guardianships covered under the California Probate Code. I do not assist with Guardianships originated in Juvenile Dependency Court.

Conservatorship
A probate conservatorship is a court proceeding for appointing someone to be legally responsible for another adult. A “conservator” is a person appointed by the court to be legally responsible for that adult. Landlord/Tenant Disputes
Regarding Unlawful Detainers (Evictions), I represent residential and commercial landlords and property owners, and commercial tenants. Regarding other disputes (tenant discrimination, habitability issues, quiet enjoyment issues) between Landlords and Tenants, I represent residential and commercial landlords and property owners, and residential and commercial tenants.

Limited Civil Litigation
Limited Civil litigation is the process in which a court resolves civil disputes of $25,000.00 or less. Civil matters are situations dealing with relationships between people, such as a contract dispute, or a private nuisance. This includes personal injury cases, medical malpractice cases, employment or labor disputes, or education law disputes. Please note that this list is not all inclusive; rather, these are the limited civil matters my law firm is equipped to litigate.

Mediation
Mediation is dispute resolution with assistance of an impartial third-party moderator through the use of communication and negotiation techniques. I may be able to assist you with your dispute through Mediation.
